El intendente agradeció la colaboración interdepartamental y reafirmó su compromiso con una ciudad más limpia y ordenada.
El intendente de Salto, Carlos Albisu, gestionó con su par de Paysandú, Nicolás Olivera, el préstamo de un camión recolector para reforzar el servicio de recolección de residuos en la ciudad, ante las carencias y dificultades heredadas en esa repartición de la Intendencia.
El vehículo, facilitado por la Intendencia de Paysandú, fue trasladado a Salto por el coordinador de Gestión Integrada de Residuos Sólidos, Omar Estévez, quien viajó junto a un chofer hasta el vecino departamento para concretar el traslado.

Desde el Gobierno de Salto se destacó y agradeció la colaboración de la comuna sanducera, subrayando que esta cooperación interdepartamental resulta fundamental en un contexto en el que gran parte de la maquinaria presenta un deterioro significativo heredado de la administración anterior.
“Este tipo de acciones permiten mantener el servicio y mejorar la limpieza urbana, mientras avanzamos en la recuperación y modernización de la flota municipal”, señalaron desde la Intendencia.
La incorporación del camión mejorará la eficiencia del servicio de recolección y el mantenimiento de la ciudad, reafirmando el compromiso del Gobierno de Salto con una gestión ordenada, responsable y solidaria entre departamentos vecinos.
