La edición Nº 55 de las 500 Millas del Norte finalizó el pasado domingo en el departamento de Artigas y dejó como vencedor a Nicolás Traico, representante del equipo Artigas SAD.
El equipo de Libertad de Salto estuvo presente en esta clásica prueba del ciclismo del norte del país. Los ciclistas integrantes del equipo salteño fueron: Agustín Saavedra, Enrique Peculio, Pablo Avellanal y Sergio Saavedra (este último lamentablemente sufrió un accidente que lo llevó a abandonar la carrera). Los acompañantes fueron: Emilio Nessi, Jugo Coronel, Abel como kinesiólogo, Luis Saavedra (Padre) y Luis “Cubi” Saavedra.
